About Free NCLEX Prep
Last updated: 21 October 2026
Free NCLEX Prep is a free educational website that provides original NCLEX-style practice questions, Next Generation NCLEX (NGN) clinical judgment cases, structured study plans, and informational guides. It is designed especially for international nurses preparing for the NCLEX-RN.
Who runs this site
The site is independently operated as a free study resource for international nurses preparing for the NCLEX-RN. Content is produced through original writing, curriculum mapping to the published NCSBN NCLEX-RN Test Plan, and ongoing editorial review. No individual clinical credentials or named subject-matter experts are claimed. Users must verify any regulatory, licensing, or clinical information against official sources. Independent clinical review of practice items remains a recommended future step before stronger expertise claims are made.
Editorial process and source verification
- Practice questions and rationales are written to align with the official NCLEX-RN Test Plan (effective 1 April 2026 through 31 March 2029) and the NCSBN Clinical Judgment Measurement Model.
- Only items with developed rationales and option-specific distractor feedback are exposed in the public practice pool. Thin or generic legacy rationales are filtered out.
- Information articles include source-limitation statements and direct readers to official authorities (NCSBN, state boards, PRC, CGFNS, immigration agencies) for current rules.
- Country-specific guides separate exam preparation from licensing, document evaluation, employment, and immigration. No outcome is guaranteed.
- Content is updated when official test plans or major process changes are published. See the Editorial Policy for more detail.
